Jason Michaels, M.D. Speaks in Santiago, Chile

Jason Michaels, M.D. traveled to Santiago, Chile to be a key speaker at a number of different lectures for the Chilean National Dermatologic Conference.

He specifically spoke about the Sciton Contour TRL Laser platforms to educate his international dermatologic colleagues about the advanced techniques of this device.

The Sciton Laser covers a number of treatment results including: firming of the skin, improves acne scars, wrinkles, sun damage, helps to limit the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles of the lower eyelid, and helps clients who are looking for younger looking skin.

Jason Michaels, M.D. is considered to be the leading authority of advanced cosmetic dermatology treatment and techniques by his peers and speaks nationally on a regular basis for major physician, nursing and aesthetic conferences.

“I always enjoy the opportunity to share my expertise in advanced cosmetic dermatology with others in my field. There are so many new procedures and lasers available that it is inherent we all share our experiences with one another. It is really an honor to have been selected to teach this knowledge to my international colleagues in this great country. To make it even better, I’m proud to say I gave all the lectures in Spanish! I have a personal passion for Chile as this is the country that my beautiful wife, Andrea, was raised. During the lecture series we were able to squeeze in some time for ourselves, visit relatives, and take in the sights and sounds of Santiago,” comments Dr. Jason Michaels.

Jason Michaels, M.D. Speaks in China

Jason Michaels, M.D. spoke in Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai on his injection techniques, and some of his favorite lasers.

Dr. Michaels writes…

The Chinese share similar laser equipment and consumer interest in anti-aging solutions, acne treatments, botox and fillers. What differs most is their primary focus on the pigmentation of the face. They’re very timid about aggressive laser techniques that are more common here and fear skin discoloration. The size of their treatment centers more closely resemble small hospitals, and offered dermatology, plastic surgery and cosmetic dentistry all in one place.

I was overwhelmed with their kindness, respect toward others and accommodating nature. My Chinese translator went out of his way to make sure I had Starbucks coffee every morning! I found them to be very reverent people.

It was a pleasure to be the keynote speaker and share my experience with lasers and cosmetic techniques with the physicians there. I am finally back on the right day of the week here – what a time change adjustment!
