Tal Buntinx, MD is a board-certified Dermatologist with a global background. He has ties to Europe and South America and is fluent in both English and Spanish. With his focus on promoting health and beauty for all individuals, Dr. Buntinx offers a wide spectrum of medical, surgical, and cosmetic treatments. His primary passions include diagnosing/treating skin cancer, aesthetics, medical lasers, energy-based technologies, and skin education through his social media accounts.
Dr. Buntinx graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Neuroscience and Latin American Studies and went on to medical school at the University of Central Florida. During his medical studies he published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles, and founded “Live with the Sun” - a volunteer program aimed at skin cancer prevention through interactive educational sessions in public schools. On the basis of excellent academic performance, he was invited to serve as a peer tutor to other medical students.
After graduating in 2017, Dr. Buntinx completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at Brown University and his Dermatology Residency at the University of California, San Diego. While in residency he continued to pursue scholarly and extracurricular activities including volunteering at multiple free clinics. He developed his passion for medical lasers while partnering with Clean Slate, an organization that provides free tattoo removal services for individuals transitioning out of the justice system.
