Introduction
Marissa Cunetta was born and raised in Rhode Island. She graduated from Assumption College with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in biology and a dual minor in chemistry and philosophy. Upon graduation, Marissa worked as a research associate for several years in Providence, RI studying surgical immunotherapy as treatment for specific oncologic pathways. She then moved on from her research career to earn her Master of Medical Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Marissa worked as the General Surgery First Assist Physician Assistant in General Surgery in Wakefield, RI before transitioning to her full-time career in Dermatology. When not at work, Marissa enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and dogs.
