Cosmetic Dermatology > Microchanneling
The Microchannel stamper by Procell Therapies combines microchanneling and microdermabrasion all in one tool. The minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure involves the use of this device, which contains fine needles. The needles are used to puncture the skin to create controlled skin injury. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body to fill these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin. After the procedure your skin will be red and flushed in appearance similar to a moderate sunburn. You may also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to touch on the area being treated. This will diminish greatly after a few hours and within the next 24 hours the skin will be mostly healed. After 3 days, evidence of the procedure is barely evident. Results in improvement in skin texture and firmness, as well as reduction in scars, pore size, and stretch marks.
