Neuromodulator Treatments

What are neuromodulators? Neuromodulators are wrinkle-relaxing injections of botulinum toxin - commercially known as Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, Xeomin or Jeuveau - that are used to treat wrinkles, frown lines and crow's feet.

These injections have really revolutionized cosmetic treatments, and are proving to be one of the single best options for the prevention in the formation of wrinkles. Neuromodulator Treatments are also used in other indications, such as in reduction in acne, reduction in pore size and softening of a gummy smile with an incredibly high success rate. There is no downtime and upon the slight chance of bruising, concealer can be applied if needed. In Botox treatment, topical anesthetic is sometimes used.

In order to maintain the results, treatment is recommended every four to six months, and upon the initial corrections, less should be needed on a regular basis.
